Block does not have a specific type in terms of gender, and all types of stones that are extracted from the mine are initially in the form of Block.

Therefore, Block can be made of granite, marble and travertine. But the classification of all kinds of Kop stones is done based on its size and quality. In this category, there are a total of three types of Kop stones:

One Block

The dimensions of the double Block stone are smaller than the single Block stone. In fact, two stones and two Blocks are equal to one single Block. Two Blocks  are usually in the shape of a rectangular Block, but they may not have a special shape. Two stones can be loaded on a trailer.

Three Blocks

The dimensions of three Block stones are smaller than two Block stones. In fact, all three Block stones are equal to one single- Block stone. Therefore, in transportation, three pieces of stone, three c Block, are transported on one trailer.

Block stone measurement for cutting is done in the mine. It means that the stone can be cut from the raw stone in the mine to the desired amount and its dimensions are not fixed. Of course, it should be kept in mind that the value of a stone depends on its dimensions; The bigger the stone, the more valuable it will be. If the size of the stone is large, the stone cutting factory can easily cut it into pieces with the required dimensions.

Block stones are usually cut into 4-sided or 6-sided shapes and are cut into smaller pieces based on their shape at the stone cutting plant. In this way, the Block stones, which have a regular shape and are in the shape of a square Block or a rectangular Block, are cut into slabs with a saw.

But for cutting stones with irregular geometric shapes and generally stones that cannot be cut with a saw, the top is used. These stones are cut into square tiles with side sizes of 30, 40, 50, 60 and 80.

Block stone or block stone is a stone that needs processing and cannot be used without processing. Slabs are made from Block-shaped stones with large dimensions, and tiles are made from stones with irregular shapes and smaller dimensions.

The result of this processing, whether it is a slab or a tile, will be used in various fields, including construction, interior decoration, and making decorative items.

There is no other way to use mineral stones except cutting and extracting the stone in the form of a Block from the mine. The best way is to cut the stone in large pieces so that the best processing can be done on the stones and the required pieces can be prepared from them as desired.

For this reason, the stones in the mines and in the heart of the mountains are cut in the form of cut stones, and then they are transported to the stone-quarry factories for the next operation and preparation for consumption.
